Shift : Nights | Hours : 12 hr (36 hr guarantee)

On Call : As Needed

Position Overview :

Seeking an experienced OR RN to provide safe, high-quality patient care in the operating room. This role involves assessing and planning individualized patient care, coordinating the OR team, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Responsibilities :

Patient Care (40%) : Assess surgical patient needs, develop care plans, implement and evaluate during procedures, adjust as needed for patient safety.

OR Coordination (30%) : Supervise room activity, anticipate schedule changes, assemble equipment and supplies, assist anesthesia, monitor sterile field.

Communication (20%) : Liaise with patient, family, physician, OR team, supervisor / manager, and ancillary departments.

Staff Development (10%) : Participate in educational meetings, in-services, seminars, and preceptorship for professional growth.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years RN OR experience – Required

Level 2 Trauma experience – Required

Proficient in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, General / GYN, and Urology – Required

BLS – Required

Recent travel experience – Highly Preferred
