Opening for C&A Psychiatry Physician in Upstate New YorkOpportunity in Plattsburgh, NYAlbany 160m; Montpelier, VT 70mFull TimePermanent PositionEmployed OpportunityJ1 / H1 Visa Sponsored - Seeking 3 new full-time Adult and Child / Adolescent Psychiatry faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the clinical scholar pathway. - These 3 physicians will join our team of professionals to provide inpatient psychiatry services. - There is an opportunity to do outpatient services if desired. - Call is : 1 weeknight per month and 3-4 weekends per year. - Inpatient psychiatry services include an 18 bed Adult Unit and a 12 bed Child / Adolescent Unit. - Care is delivered in a multi-disciplinary approach. - Selected candidates will be responsible for direct patient care along with, potentially, supervision and teaching of child psychiatry fellows, residents, and medical students. - An interest in clinical research, teaching, and / or public health is a plus. - Annual salary is $275,000 with a comprehensive benefit package including 10 days of CME. - Relocation assistance of $10,000 is offered.About The Area : The city of Plattsburgh NY is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain just north of the Adirondacks in Upstate NY.
