Description :

This position is for a Seasonal Travel RN specializing in Med Surg / Oncology.

The unit comprises 24 beds with a dedicated team of 19 staff members.

Six new nurses are onboarding this month.

Day shift staffing includes one charge nurse, five nurses, and an Admin Care tech.

Night shift staffing includes one charge nurse and five nurses when fully staffed.

Patient ratios are maintained at 1 : 5.

The electronic medical record charting system used is Meditech.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in Med / Surg.

Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role.

Chemo administration is a key responsibility that only certified nurses can perform.

Support for new staff members is readily available from the charge nurse team.
