This unit has 10 beds with an invitingly warm environment, dedicated medical staff, and pediatric coverage by a Board Certified provider.\n\nHow you'll contribute\n\nA Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role : \n

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs\n
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions\n
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient\n
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record\n
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient\n

  • Professional Development : Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nApplicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include : \n
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)\n
  • Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of hire.\n
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months of hire.\n
  • NRP within six (6) months of hire\n
  • One (1) year of recent Labor & Delivery experience\n
  • Recent RN experience\n
