Physical Therapy Now is an established Rehab Center in the State of Florida. We are looking for a Physical Therapist that is professional and agile. We are hiring a part-time / per diem PT to perform patient Evaluations and oversight.

POSITION SUMMARY :

• Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability by performing the following duties
• Tests & measures patients' strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency, and records finding to develop or revise treatment programs.
• Plans and prepares written treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data.
• Instructs, motivates, and assists patient to perform various physical activities.
• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
• Records treatment, response and progress in patients' chars (EMR).
• Instructs patient in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
• Confers with referring physicians and other practitioners to obtain additional patient information, suggests revisions in treatment programs, and integrates physical therapy treatments with other aspects of patients' health care.
• Orients, instructs and directs work activities of assistants and students.
• Follows company requirement regarding collection of patient data for outcome studies. Flows company's requirement for acquisition of appropriate authorizations for continuing care.

Pay : $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
