We currently have an immediate opening for a CNC Operator with a busy machine shop in Walnut, CA. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating one or more CNC production machining centers to include but not limited to lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, etc. Load and operates numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided and setups are made and maintained by higher level operators.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate multiple types of fabrication equipment :
• Operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts
• Places and secures work pieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches.
• Load, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using CNC machining centers to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructions written on Work Orders and blueprints
• Basic recognition of tooling and procedures within established tolerances
• Complete work order paperwork
