JOB SUMMARY :

The Mechanical Test Engineer will be responsible for managing data quality, performing hands-on validation and verification testing, and analyzing test data to ensure product reliability and performance. This role requires collaboration with test requestors, execution of detailed testing procedures, and utilization of engineering tools to evaluate and improve mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to interpret and communicate test results effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform testing, validation testing, and verification testing of mechanical systems and components.
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and apply 7-Step Problem Solving methodologies to identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Manage and ensure the quality of test data while performing in-depth data analysis.
• Utilize MATLAB and other analytical tools to evaluate process capability and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and test requestors to ensure test objectives are met.
• Prepare detailed test reports, documentation, and presentations of results.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Coding background or experience with automation scripting (bonus).
