Licensed Practical Nurse - Float Nurses

POSITION SUMMARY : Professional Services serves as the Clinic's full-time float pool; providing nurse coverage to departments during times of vacancies, medical leave, vacation requests or sick days. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergency, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.

QUALIFICATIONS : Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school of nursing; current state licensure; current CPR certification.

WORK SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00AM -5 : 00PM with travel time to / from the satellite clinic locations based on coverage schedule. Employees are also responsible for their own transportation to / from satellite clinic locations.
