Job Overview : An established Family Law firm located in the Greater Orlando area is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in family law litigation and will work closely with a Managing Attorney to represent clients in various family law matters. The firm is looking for an attorney with a strong ability to negotiate settlements while also being ready to aggressively represent clients in court when necessary.
Location : Duties :
- Draft legal documents including motions and pleadings related to dissolution of marriage, paternity, and other family law matters
- Assist with the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, and reviewing documents
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies
- Represent clients in court as necessary, including hearings and motions
- Maintain a professional rapport with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court
- Conduct initial consultations with potential clients
- Provide timely updates and advice to clients regarding the status of their cases
- Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and case timelines
