Responsibilities
- Drive the program mission by ensuring safety and joy standards, coaching staff, and maintaining site documents and licensing requirements.
- Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
- Support ongoing safety protocols and report on safety measures to protect all participants.
- Foster respectful relationships among staff to address challenges and maintain team cohesion and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with program policies, including attendance procedures and daily activities.
Qualifications
18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED required (and additional qualifiers per Ohio state requirements listed below).Experience working with children; knowledge of special needs preferred.Coursework or training in child development and / or related field; strong communication skills (oral, written, and visual).Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community; familiarity with Google technology or willingness to learn.Ohio state requirements for this role include First Aid and CPR in-person, ability to meet state-specific requirements, and either (a) an associate degree or higher in Child Development or Early Childhood Education or related field, or (b) two years of training with four courses in Child Development / Early Childhood, or (c) equivalent credentials such as a Child Development Associate Credential, Pre-Kindergarten Associate Certificate, Montessori credential, Career Pathways Level 3, or Administrator Credential.Benefits
