Job Description

Black River Health has an immediate opening for a Med / Surg Lead. A lead coordinates and oversees the activities of team members to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. Motivates and inspires their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication and encourages bonding of team members by ensuring compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high-quality work. This opportunity is :

Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, Day Shift M-F with adjustments covering open shifts as needed, benefited

Essential Duties :

Coordinates and supervises the activities of team members. Monitors the daily performance of team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.

Collaborates with the Transition Care Nurse in coordinating the Utilization Management Program to ensure appropriate use of resources and to facilitate appropriate patient education.

Completes various audits to ensure nursing care delivery is meeting standards and expectations, including responsibility to audit and remediate patient charges to ensure accuracy.

Reviews charges of patient accounts to ensure appropriate charge capture.

Performs the duties and core skills of the Registered Nurse.

Educational Qualifications :

ADN required

BSN preferred

BSN required within 3 years of the date of hire

Must have a valid Wisconsin RN License

1+ years of related work experience required

3+ years of related work experience preferred
