GENERAL SUMMARY :
We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Poly Line Operator | 1st Shift to join our team in manufacturing cut-to-size polyfill for outdoor cushions. This hands-on role involves operating machinery, stacking products, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting team operations in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Stack polyfill to size for outdoor cushions.
- Demonstrate team-oriented thinking; be a team player and assist others when available.
- Maintain proper trim alignment during production.
- Monitor Garnett(Polyline) machines while in operation.
- Keep the floor beneath Garnett(Polyline) machines clear of polyfill residue.
- Weigh and accurately place finished cut pieces in designated areas.
- Assist with fiber doffing alongside team members when the product is complete.
- Must adhere to the stacking height limitations and safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of safety and product quality.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and focus on assigned tasks.
- Support and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in programs specified by management, including safety meetings and required training.
- Communicate effectively and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Keep the work area safe and clean; participate in 5S Daily Housekeeping throughout the day and at the end of each shift. Sweep and clean before leaving daily.
- Be willing to cross-train and take on other departmental roles as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to perform assigned tasks efficiently and on time.Proficiency in basic counting and math.Familiarity with manufacturing processes.Willingness to learn Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures.Ability to understand and maintain the required quality standards in daily departmental tasks.Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, climb, and carry materials.Requirements :
