Senior Accountant

Association Headquarters is seeking to grow a pipeline of detail-oriented Senior Accountants proficient in multi-tasking. The Senior Accountant within the Corporate Financial Services function is responsible for assisting the Corporate Accounting Supervisor with accounting operations, month end general ledger entries, and financial statement preparation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring invoices are processed and payments are made on time
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any issues quickly and accurately
• Corporate Credit Card Management
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and ensure they align with company policies
• Assist employees with credit card usage and provide clear, straightforward guidance on submitting expenses
• Month-End Close & Reporting
• Support the month-end close process, ensuring financial statements are prepared accurately and on time
• Prepare key reports for leadership, offering insights that drive business decisions
• Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency as the company grows
• Enhance internal controls to ensure accuracy and transparency in accounts payable and credit card management
• Collaborate Across Teams
• Work closely with other departments to ensure financial processes are integrated and seamless
• Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure financial operations run smoothly
