Description : Medical Assistant

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff. From the moment you escort the patient to their Provider to seamlessly scheduling next steps, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring patient comfort
  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens, perform basic laboratory tests, and document results accurately
  • Manage patient scheduling, answer phone calls, and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Maintain clean and organized examination rooms and medical equipment in compliance with safety and hygiene standards
  • Update and maintain patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Educate patients on medication instructions, follow-up care, and health maintenance as directed by healthcare providers

Skills and Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred
  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare regulations
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus
