ProKatchers is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Shift :

Days, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM - 40 Hours - 8 X 5 Days.

Work Experience :

  • This position sets up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures, processes and performs quality control checks on cine radiographic images, assists in preparing patient for procedures and assists other members of the cath lab / Interventional Radiology staff and physicians as needed to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab / special procedures.
  • Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
  • Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
  • May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.
  • Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
  • May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.
  • Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR and PACs applications.
  • Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
  • Maintains department competencies as required

    • License :

  • ARRT (RTR) Certification - Required
  • MALIC(R)(M) - Mass License in Radiography and Mammography

  • Massachusetts

    • Certifications :

    BLS / CPR Certification.
