Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based CT Scan department Level 1 Trauma center patient population Four 10-hour day shifts per week : Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM Performs computerized axial tomography procedures and assigned invasive procedures, including multiplanar reformats and 3D rendering Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast when appropriate Utilizes the EPIC EMR system; EPIC experience required Performs independent exam acquisition, processing, and provides necessary case review with radiologists Monitors patient safety, screens for pregnancy, and manages adverse reactions to contrast Supports instruction of students and new staff as needed May be asked to assist in other imaging modalities within scope of licensure RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13 week contract Local candidates not accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from facility Contingent workers may not be on assignment for more than 1 year without a 6-month break before returning Scrub or attire requirements provided by department Requirements Associate Degree in a related field or Certificate in Radiologic Technology IEMA Radiography License required if applicable Radiography (R)(ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (NMTCB), CT (ARRT), and BLS (AHA) required Minimum of 1 year of relevant CT technologist experience Experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital required EPIC charting experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611665.
