• About the Role The CMMC CA Lead owns RSI Security’s CMMC assessment and certification services.
• This role is responsible for leading assessment teams, ensuring quality and consistency in delivery, and serving as the primary client liaison.
• The Lead will represent RSI Security in engagements with DoD contractors, stakeholders, and industry bodies, while guiding methodology improvements and practice development.
• The ideal candidate is a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) with deep knowledge of CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and related frameworks, plus proven experience leading compliance engagements from readiness through certification.
• What You'll Do Lead and perform CMMC Level 1–3 readiness assessments, gap analyses, and formal certification assessments.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on CMMC requirements, certification pathways, and remediation planning.
• Serve as escalation point and primary client contact throughout CMMC engagements.
• Oversee and mentor assessment teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and consistent methodology.
• Drive development and continuous improvement of RSI’s CMMC service offerings.
• Support presales and business development by scoping projects, participating in proposals, and presenting RSI capabilities to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with internal leaders (Compliance, Advisory, TAC, Technical Ops) to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Stay current with evolving DoD, CMMC-AB, and regulatory requirements; represent RSI in relevant forums and working groups.
• Prepare and deliver clear, accurate, and actionable assessment reports for executives and stakeholders.
