Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Floor Manager to join our team at a newly opened, high-volume casual / upscale restaurant. The ideal candidate is a dynamic hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of guest service, and the ability to maintain smooth daily operations on the restaurant floor.
This role is key to creating exceptional guest experiences, mentoring front-of-house staff, and ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout each shift.
Duties
Lead daily floor operations to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Supervise, train, and support front-of-house staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.
Oversee table assignments, pacing, and service flow during busy shifts.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure communication and timing are on point.
Maintain a visible presence on the floor, resolving guest issues promptly and professionally.
Support management with scheduling, onboarding, and performance feedback.
Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Contribute to a positive, professional, and hospitality-driven culture.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant floor or front-of-house management role.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on management style.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of food, wine, and craft cocktail service preferred.
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
