About The Position We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician for a 160-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and features a primarily outpatient-based schedule from Monday to Thursday, 8a-5p, and Friday, 8a-12p. The Physician will participate in a light on-call rotation, mainly handling phone and virtual consultations. Job Details Location : North Carolina Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 160 days Provider Type Needed : Hematology / Oncology Physician Schedule : Monday-Thursday (8a-5p), Friday (8a-12p) 99.9% outpatient services Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care in Hematology and Oncology Handle a small number of hospital consults annually Participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rotation, primarily via phone or virtual Engage with patients and provide follow-up consultations as needed Use Epic EMR system to document and manage patient information Additional Information Must be board certified in Medical Oncology Required to have recent experience in Hematology / Oncology Must hold a valid North Carolina medical license Certifications needed : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) Apply now to learn more!
