Day to day as a Dental Director

As our Dental Director at Fourth Street Clinic, you will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate and comprehensive dental care that encompasses diagnostics, preventive and restorative services, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. You'll not only supervise and mentor a dynamic team of dental assistants, hygienists, students, and volunteers but also ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance while upholding the highest safety standards across our dental program. Your leadership will drive quality improvement initiatives and staff development, as you engage in strategic planning to elevate our services. Collaborating with various departments and external partners, you'll play a crucial role in providing integrated, trauma-informed care that makes a real difference in our community. Does this sound like you?

To thrive as our Dental Director at Fourth Street Clinic, you'll need a DDS or DMD degree along with a valid Utah dental license, ensuring you have the credentials to lead in our community. A DEA certification and current BLS certification are essential to keep our practices safe and compliant. With at least 5 years of clinical experience-preferably with 2 or more in a leadership role-you'll bring the expertise necessary to guide our talented team.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are a must, allowing you to tackle challenges with grace. Your experience serving vulnerable or underserved populations will be invaluable, as we prioritize equity and compassion in every interaction. Above all, a dedication to team-based care will unite us in our mission to provide outstanding dental services and support our community with heart!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• DDS or DMD degree and valid Utah dental license.
• DEA certification and current BLS certification.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience (2+ years in a leadership role preferred)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience serving vulnerable or underserved populations.
• Dedication to equity
