RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details :

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years Med Surg experience required
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• BLS certification required
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Care for diverse patient populations including renal, hepatic, respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, psychiatric, and infectious diseases
• Treat high volume conditions such as cellulitis, COPD, diabetes, ETOH withdrawal, pneumonia, and sepsis
• Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment with patient population ranging from 18 years old to geriatric
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed
