We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with expertise in accounts receivable and commercial collections.

Responsibilities :

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle commercial collections by contacting clients regarding outstanding balances and resolving payment issues.
• Apply cash collections and payments to the appropriate accounts.
• Generate and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with approval processes.
• Perform data entry tasks related to billing and receivables.
• Maintain organized records of approved invoices and transaction histories.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve billing workflows.
• Provide support during audits by preparing and organizing necessary documentation.
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address inquiries and payment concerns.
