Job Schedule : Full time

Weekly Hours : 36.00

Salary Range : $26.50 - $36.00

Pay Info : $10,000.00 sign-on bonus!

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will :

  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles tailored to the clinical setting.
  • Utilize your full scope of nursing expertise to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents.
  • Perform assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
  • Provide counseling to residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans.
  • Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have :

  • A graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an Associate degree is preferred.
  • If required, IV therapy / management skills obtained through a Board-approved program or course.
  • A minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN or supervised clinical experience across the lifespan.
  • An unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and / or multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and competency training.
