Shift : 12 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Schedule : Full time

Weekly Hours : 36.00

Salary Range : $26.50 - $36.00

Pay Info : $10,000.00 sign-on bonus!

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will :

Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles tailored to the clinical setting.
Utilize your full scope of nursing expertise to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents.
Perform assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
Provide counseling to residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans.
Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have :

A graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an Associate degree is preferred.

If required, IV therapy / management skills obtained through a Board-approved program or course.

A minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN or supervised clinical experience across the lifespan.

An unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and / or multi-state licensure privileges.

Commitment to ongoing education and competency training.
