As a Project Process Engineer, y ou'll be the driving force behind our continuous improvement initiatives, leading critical projects and optimizing production processes. SCOPE

Project Management :

  • Lead engineering projects, including equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and new product introductions.
  • Define project scope, develop schedules, and ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Process Optimization :

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor production systems to identify and address inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent production outcomes.
  • Equipment and Maintenance :

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Quality and Safety :

  • Ensure all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives to maintain product standards and certifications.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting :

  • Collect and analyze process data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering or project management in a chemical production manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with pearlescent pigment production or similar chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to wear any Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Ability to work safely in a chemical manufacturing environment.
