    Your Role and Responsibilities

    As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you will ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all functions in the unit during your shift. Here’s what you’ll be doing :

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with the management team.
  • Foster teamwork by collaborating with subject matter experts and other managers.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and patient outcomes.
  • Assist in interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, and recommend training and development initiatives.
  • Manage staff scheduling and labor in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.

    • What You’ll Need

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Missouri RN licensure.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • BLS and ALS certification required and maintained.
  • EPNC (or PALS) and TNCC or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) required within one year of hire.
  • Two years of clinical practice in your specialty and leadership experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Completion of Triage First (ED triage training course) within one year of hire.
