MedSurg / ER RN - Acute Care (Contract)

Location : CHI St Alexius Health Carrington Medical Center

Shift : 12-hour shifts, 36 hrs / week (Every Other Weekend; First to Float)

Experience : 1+ year in a similar setting

Job Overview :

Seeking an experienced MedSurg / ER RN to deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, emergency interventions, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Unit Details :

Department : MedSurg / ER / Outpatient

Trauma Level : 5 STEMI Receiving

Beds : 25 | Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 4

Average ER Patients Per Day : 3-5

Common Diagnoses : Chest pain, stroke, trauma, CHF, COPD, CKD, diabetes

• Requirements

License & Certifications : Active RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

Charting System : Meditech

Radius Rule : Must live 50+ miles from the facility and not hold a role with CommonSpirit (CHI / Dignity)
