Treasury Specialist

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for daily cash handling and forecasting, as well as analyzing and reconciling the cash accounts by reviewing the general ledger detail, A / P, A / R, and tax activity to confirm accurate data posted to the cash accounts.

May perform any or all of the following duties :

• Report all daily cash movement for all concepts via cash worksheets (including company holidays)
• Dispatch ACH and wire in the bank portal and Oracle / PeopleSoft
• Verify the accuracy of various fund transmissions
• Reconcile bank accounts weekly; research discrepancies; analyze and advise the appropriate department regarding the necessary resolution.
• Active participant in the weekly, period, and quarterly close process
• Provide support as needed for internal and external auditors
• Prepare journal entries to account for all cash receipts and payments (Manager and In Securitization)
• Prepare daily cash forecast; advise management regarding cash needs
• Prepare and maintain numerous complex Excel spreadsheets for internal departmental daily use
• Communicates with Corporate Personnel as needed
• Preparation of corporate deposits
• Monitor and co-manage high-volume Treasury Inbox
• Participates in company meetings and conference calls
• Performs special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and / or requirements
