Schedule for the Registered Dental Hygienist :

Tuesday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm

Wednesday 11 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm

Thursday 8 : 30 am - 6 : 00 pm

Responsibilities and Requirements of the Registered Dental Hygienist :

3-5 years of experience preferred

Team player

Prophy / periodontal Maintenance : 60 minutes

Implant maintenance : 30 minutes

Ensure patients feel comfortable and well-informed

Conduct comprehensive oral assessments and evaluate medical histories

Identify conditions such as periodontal disease, occlusal trauma, oral pathology, and caries

Perform non-surgical periodontal therapies such as laser-assisted scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance and implant maintenance

Gather and interpret salivary diagnostics

Educate patients on proper oral care

Provide post-operative instructions to patients

Take digital X-rays

Maintain paperless documentation

Communicate patient care with referral practices

Monitor supplies and treatment room

Participate in the advancement of the practice
