Maryland Nursing Job Details Location : Leonardtown, Maryland 20650 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week (36 hours / week) Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1590 - $1710 Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Unit : Adult Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med / Surg Tele; no pediatric care) Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period) Scrubs : Caribbean Blue (not provided) Registered Nurse Qualifications Current and active RN license in Maryland or compact state (required) Minimum 2 years of recent adult Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience BLS certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred) Proficient in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia management Ability to float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed Two supervisor references required Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply RN Job Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients with diverse diagnoses (e.g., diabetes, CHF, sepsis, COPD, post-surgical recovery, GI bleed, sickle cell crisis) Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response / code situations Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care Utilize specialized clinical equipment : patient lifts, CADD pumps, chest tubes, telemetry monitors, capnography Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services) Float to other medical-surgical or telemetry units as required Accurately document patient care and complete required orientation modules prior to assignment start Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career with this rewarding Med / Surg Telemetry RN job in Leonardtown, Maryland!
