Warehouse Worker - 2nd & 3rd Shift Available

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker on the 3rd shift, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using stand-up reach trucks. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all operations are in compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities :

• Operate stand-up reach trucks to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Load and unload trailers and stage materials for production and shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow all GMP, HACCP, and OSHA safety protocols.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including pallet wrapping, labeling, and sanitation.
• Communicate effectively with production, shipping, and quality teams.

Work Environment :

Work during the hours of 11 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment supporting overnight production and shipping. The warehouse is well-lit with moderate to high noise levels from machinery and forklifts. Temperature varies by area, with some zones being cooler or warmer. You will frequently stand, walk, and operate forklifts for extended periods, regularly lift 4050 lbs, bend, and reach. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toe boots, gloves, and safety vests are required. The facility follows strict GMP and HACCP food safety protocols, with daily sanitation routines and clean aisles maintained by forklift operators. Collaborate with a supportive overnight team and communicate clearly with production, shipping, and quality control departments. Supervisors are on-site to provide guidance and ensure safety compliance. Equipment includes stand-up reach trucks, RF scanners, pallet jacks, shrink wrap machines, and warehouse management systems. Daily equipment checks and maintenance logs are required.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Piscataway, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
