Pay Rate : $67.31–$81.73 / hr

Work Type : Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days in office)

Position Overview

Seeking a Bilingual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care to clients across the lifespan. The NP will perform evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, adults, and older adults .

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, crisis assessments, and establish diagnoses.

Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and long-acting injectables.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with therapists and medical staff.

Participate in clinical case conferences and multidisciplinary care coordination.

Maintain accurate documentation in CareLogic EHR in compliance with OMH and agency standards.

Support initiatives related to depression, PTSD, suicidal ideation, and tobacco cessation .

Qualifications

Must Have :

Master’s Degree and Board Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Active NYS RN and NP licenses (Psychiatry specialty).

Authorized to prescribe MAT .

Bilingual in Spanish (required).

Preferred :

Board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology .

5+ years of experience in outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health .

Proficiency in trauma-informed care and knowledge of OMH Part 599 regulations .

Experience in community mental health , telepsychiatry , and working with underserved populations.
