Now Hiring : Travel Pathology Assistant

Location : Saranac Lake, NY

Schedule : 13 Weeks, M-F Day Shift (7 : 30a - 4p); every other weekend and every other holiday expected

Key Responsibilities :

• Supports Pathologists by performing gross examinations, dissecting, and preparing surgical and post-mortem specimens for microscopic analysis and diagnosis
• Describe tissue features, submit tissue samples for further testing, assist in autopsies, and maintaining lab records and equipment
• Prepare tissues for microscopic examination by dissecting them, taking samples, placing them in cassettes, and submitting them for processing into slides
• Perform frozen sections and provide rapid, on-the-spot feedback to surgeons during surgery about tumor presence at surgical margins

Pay Details : $3,446.00 per week
