About the Facility Location While in southern Alabama, visit the Uninhabited Island Kayaking Adventure, tour the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, or explore the Gulf Coast Dolphin Cruise. About the Clinician's Workday The Interventional Radiology position is Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m., with some weeknight and weekend call. Providers can expect to see approximately 40 patients per day, performing 8-14 procedures daily. This role is 100% IR and includes full-service arterial and venous angiographic procedures (trauma, GI bleeds, fistula / graft interventions, PE thrombectomy, TIPS, IVC filter, etc.), biliary interventions, cholecystostomy placement, and routine CT / IR / fluoro-guided procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, and nephrostomy tubes. Locum providers will also perform a mix of routine outpatient procedures and inpatient consults.
