Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position is for the 2025-2026 school year, working as a Special Education Teacher serving K-5 students with life skills and severe or multiple cognitive disabilities. The role is based in an elementary school setting and runs from August 25, 2025, through June 10, 2026, with daily hours from 8 : 15 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.

Responsibilities include :

• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Collaborating with a team of seven educational technicians (paras) to support a caseload of 12 students
• Utilizing specialized instructional strategies suitable for students with severe or multiple disabilities
• Monitoring and assessing student progress regularly to inform instructional adjustments
• Ensuring pliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Maintaining clear munication with families, school staff, and related service providers
