Claims Experience Manager
The Claims Experience Manager is a member of the Client Executive Team. As a Claims Experience Manager at Intrepid, you will be responsible for claims relationships relationships between our Claim Handling Partners, our Internal Departments and most importantly, our valued customers. You will develop, support and maintain innovative processes and procedures to drive results and address challenges specific to our clients. You will be the subject matter expert for claim-related questions from policyholders and internal customers, own the client facing claim review and client claims onboarding process, assist in compliance related matters, participate in special projects and most importantly, make us better.
Key functions include but are not limited to :
- Lead and organize multi-line claims reviews with current customers and offer insights on risk management strategies.
- Assist sales and csa's with customers and prospects claims communications
- Collaborate closely with the Client Experience and Sales Team to define and implement an effective claim experience strategy.
- Serve as claims point of contact and knowledge for all internal departments, and for our clients, with respect to claims issues and service.
- Execute Claims Client Onboarding Strategy to ensure client understanding of claims related initiatives and products.
- Execute Claims Stewardship Strategy for our largest customers to actively drive client awareness of claim activity, status and trends. Claims Stewardship includes but isn't limited to :
- Recurring and Pre-Renewal Claim Reviews.
- High Exposure Claim Strategy Discussions.
- Weather Analytic Strategy to promote client awareness of inclement weather threats and activity.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and future strategic partners to ensure claim service needs for clients are met.
- Conduct research on industry trends and keep appraised laws in Federal, State and Local jurisdictions to assist in educating customers.
- Contribute to the innovative processes at IDI.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required or prior related insurance experience.Insurance related designation (AIC, SCLA and / or CPCU) preferred.Minimum 7 years of claim handling, preferably multi-line experience.Minimum 3 years of experience managing or supporting client relationships specific to the insurance business.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication skills both written and verbalWorks with urgencyAbility to listen and communicate to deescalate stressful situationsAbility to build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.Track record of success with positions of increasing responsibility.10-20% estimated travel to visit customers and / or prospectsThis role is based in our Overland Park, KS office.
