What we are looking for
As Global External Communication & Brand Manager, you will lead Skyborn’s external communication strategy, ensuring strong CEO visibility, impactful media relations, consistent storytelling, and effective brand expression across global and European markets. You will also oversee the development of marketing assets and Skyborn’s presence in key industry events, positioning Skyborn as a leader in offshore wind.
This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on execution across external communication, press relations, social media, brand management, and marketing. You will craft and deliver Skyborn’s global narrative while amplifying project milestones, building media presence, and supporting business development.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, strategic, creative self-starter who thrives on bringing meaningful, engaging stories to light. Excellent relationship management skills, experienced project manager, ability to clearly convey messages and confident team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities :
- Strategy & Storytelling : Lead global messaging and story development, crafting key narratives that support business and regulatory priorities.
- Media & Press Relations : Develop and execute global media strategies; manage relationships with journalists; prepare executives for interviews.
- Digital & Social Media : Oversee social media content and engagement; align digital channels with campaigns and milestones.
- Brand & Marketing : Define and promote Skyborn’s value proposition; develop marketing assets (brochures, decks, videos) with Head of Markets; ensure alignment of brand expression across units and markets.
- Events & Visibility : Secure speaking opportunities; drive Skyborn’s presence at industry events; align event participation with strategic positioning.
- Project Communication : Support local teams in amplifying project milestones and partnerships, ensuring stories feed into global channels.
- Measurement and KPIs : Measure and report on communication, media, and brand KPIs to track impact and continuously improve.
Your Profile :
Communications, marketing or journalism diploma / degree10+ years of progressive experience in communications within a global or regional teamProven planning, writing, editing, and material production experience (e.g., media release, briefing packages, newsletters, presentations, speeches, conferences, videos, websites)Experience with / knowledge of social media content and community managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill and translate complex concepts to connect with diverse audiences.Proven track record of working successfully with executives and subject matter experts.Strong and broad background in communications in the energy industry is an asset.Fluent in English and at least one additional European language (German or French preferred)Proactive in identifying strategic opportunities to promote the brand and our projects.Strategic thinker with a vision and hunger to execute.Highly organized but flexible and capable of managing multiple projects.Natural relationship builders who thrives in a fast-paced global environment.Talented communicator, who knows the difference between average work and great work.What We Offer :
