A well-established, national senior living organization is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to provide critical support to its HR team during a key employee leave. This short-term contract role (4–8 weeks) is essential to ensuring a smooth and successful open enrollment period. The right candidate will play a vital role in prepping systems, materials, and processes, not leading open enrollment, but making sure everything is set up and ready to go. This is an immediate need, and the company is looking for someone who can jump in quickly.
Responsibilities :
- Review and validate benefit plan rates across systems to ensure accuracy prior to and during open enrollment.
- Audit employee benefit elections and system configurations for consistency and correctness.
- Assist with data entry, file uploads, and system updates related to benefits administration.
- Monitor and verify leave of absence (LOA) records to ensure proper benefits handling and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, and benefits vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth data flow.
- Support the HR team with administrative tasks such as documentation, reporting, and communications related to benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
