Department Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Department Manager for the 2nd shift to join our Production Management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to improve processes. A proven performance record in a production environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment and monitor employee practices and equipment for safety concerns.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of the production team.
• Monitor daily and weekly production schedules and goals.
• Organize and assign work duties to employees.
• Evaluate employee performance and maintain accurate employee records.
• Inspect quality of products at each workstation.
• Ensure machines and equipment are functioning properly.
• Promote 5S and Lean methodologies to the fullest extent.
• Practice good housekeeping in all areas.

Work Environment

This is a 1st or 2nd shift position, working Monday through Friday 5 : 30am to 3 : 30pm OR Monday through Thursday from 1 : 00 pm to 12 : 30 am in a non-climate-controlled environment. Employees should expect to work in conditions that include elevated hot and cold temperatures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Two Rivers, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00 / yr.
