Supervisor : Systems and Development Manager

Work Schedule : Full time; Shift (4-10's) or (5-8's) Onsite
POSITION SUMMARY
Work independently with minimal supervision providing systems administration for the Infrastructure and Deactivation & Remediation contractors at the Paducah site as well as the DOE site office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Other duties may be assigned.)
- Provide primary support and management of the IT server infrastructure and hosted systems.
- Modify, troubleshoot, and analyze on systems for SSI.
- Support first-tier technical staff with the resolution of more complex issues related to software tools, applications, databases, and system access.
- Analyze and resolve hardware and software problems for end users, with primary emphasis on server-related issues.
- Provide troubleshooting support for IT staff.
- Recommend hardware and software solutions to meet end user and IT needs.
- Support Cyber Security compliance and audit preparation in coordination with the Cyber Security Team.

A. or B.S. from an accredited university with emphasis in computer science preferred.Three years directly applicable experience preferred.VMware Horizon View 8, vCenter, vSphere, esxi 7.0.Nutanix hypervisor, hyper-converged storage systems.Microsoft Server Operating System (OS) (Server 2016, Server 2019).DFS Namespace and Replication, Print services, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.Microsoft Certificate Authority, SSL certificates.Office 365, Exchange 2016, Teams, SharePoint 2016.Microsoft System Center 2203, Patch management, OS deployments.PRTG or WhatsUpGold monitoring solutions.MCP, MCSE, VMware VCP preferred.TRAINING, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be a citizen of the United States and authorized to work in the US.Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" security clearance.Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government vehicle.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
