Pay Grade : 402

Pay Rate : $15.75 - $18.90

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting the Social Services department office duties, greeting clients, answering phones, and doing simple intake work with those served in the local community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Answer phones, greet visitors, take messages, inter-office and general filing, manage communications systems (phones).
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up with general administrative support.
• Provide assistance and information to the community, callers and guests. Connect participants with program staff by request.
• Maintain and distribute support items, as available, to community members in need of emergency assistance.
• Organize, maintain and document daily activities, donations and gifts in support of agency expectations.
• Conduct intake paperwork on those seeking support.
• Communicate regularly with Corps Officer(s) in support of overall needs.
• Assist with general housekeeping of workspaces and areas served including the reception area, food pantry, office. i.e. - vacuuming, wiping counters, organization, stocking, etc.
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint. Editing, proofreading, and reviewing documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned as related to the essential responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. Significant experience may be considered in lieu of.

Experience : One to two years of administrative experience preferred supporting people and projects consecutively.
