Our client, a leading organization in network infrastructure deployment, is seeking a Network Technician to join their team. As a Network Technician, you will be part of the Network Support team supporting enterprise-level network operations with focus on optical technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Details

  • Job Title : Network Technician
  • Location : Herndon, VA
  • Pay Range : $29.00 per hour on Experis W2

Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment and expansion of next-generation network infrastructure across multiple data center locations.
  • Assist with capacity management and day-to-day network support activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including device configuration and application interactions.
  • Manage work and priorities through ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution of customer requests.

    • Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience supporting large-scale enterprise networks.
  • Experience with Optical, OSI, Networking, Cisco, Routers, Switches
  • Knowledge of TCP / IP networking and infrastructure technologies.
  • Understanding of network cabling and standard optic types.
  • Familiarity with common networking terms and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
