About PopStock

PopStock is a nonprofit ed-tech project teaching financial literacy to teens through a fun, simulated “artist stock market.” We’re building momentum around our upcoming fundraiser and need clean, on-brand visuals.

The Role

We’re seeking a Social Media Content Designer to create a focused set of graphics for a short-term campaign , plus matching, platform-specific sets that keep visuals consistent across Instagram, LinkedIn, X / Twitter, Facebook, and event pages.

What you’ll do

  • Design a compact campaign kit : tiles, stories, headers / cover images
  • Create matching sets per platform (IG square, IG Story / Reel cover, LinkedIn post, Facebook post / header, X / Twitter post)
  • Produce event-forward assets (flyer / one-sheet, countdown tiles, sponsor shout-outs, “last chance” + “thank you” graphics)
  • Set up editable templates in Canva or Figma for quick reuse
  • Ensure brand consistency (colors, typography, logo usage, tone) and export correct aspect ratios
  • Provide a quick usage guide (file names, sizes, where to use each)

You have

  • Proficiency with Canva and / or Figma (Adobe Suite a plus)
  • Eye for hierarchy, spacing, and accessible contrast
  • Bonus : light motion for Reels / TikTok covers, basic photo cleanup, or copy polish
  • 10–15 static assets across platforms (with editable masters)
  • Simple brand usage doc (1 page) + export pack (PNG / JPG / SVG as needed)
  • What you’ll get

  • On-screen credit (website, social thank-yous, LinkedIn recommendation)
  • Referrals and portfolio spotlight
  • Direct impact : your visuals help fund financial-literacy programs for teens
  • Timeline & Commitment

Short-term sprint (2–3 weeks of part-time effort). Start ASAP; flexible schedule.

    Compensation

This is a volunteer role for a registered nonprofit.
