Full-Time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Today’s Care (Urgent Care)

Location : Jacksonville, NC Brabham Road & Henderson road

About the Role

As an Urgent Care (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you’ll be a key member of our fast-paced, team-oriented urgent care setting—providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages. You'll diagnose and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent medical concerns, all while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Clinic hours are 800a-800p and the position will include three shifts one week and four shifts the following week with every-other weekend required. This opportunity includes full benefits plus unliminted bonus potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-focused urgent care to individuals and families
  • Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
  • Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records following compliance standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocol developmen t

What You Need

  • Current NP or PA certification and active North Carolina license (or eligibility)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an urgent care setting
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and commitment to patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
