• Shift / Schedule  – Full Time, Nights . 3x12, 6 : 45 PM- 7 : 15 AM.
• Requirement-  Requires a min of 2 yrs CVICU or CVPCU RN experience

2 CUB Unit

Patient Population :   Cardiac and Vascular : CHF, Immediate post-op heart bypass and valves (Cardiac Universal Bed model : Care for Telemetry, PCU, ICU and CV patients)

Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 (Tele); 1 : 3 (PCU); 1 : 2 (ICU); 1 : 1 (Immediate post-op) or unstable ICY patients connected to specialized devices

Number of Beds : 20 beds

Department Specifics : Skills leveling, Caring for ICU Devices (Impella, IABP, CRRT, EKOS, lumbar drain); World renown surgeons, magnet hospital, active Unit Based Council.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
