Home Health Aide Trainee Program

Program Overview : Join our dedicated team as a Home Health Aide Trainee in the ElderONE department. This exciting opportunity allows you to gain essential skills while making a positive impact on the lives of those in our community.

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage actively in all course activities, including class readings, discussions, and written assignments.
• Demonstrate proficiency by skillfully and safely completing all required activities outlined in the home health aide competency test.
• Achieve an academic score of 80% or above on quizzes and exams to show your understanding of course material.
• Maintain excellent attendance by arriving punctually to all required training sessions and clinical orientations.

Physical Requirements :

This role requires medium physical exertion, involving the ability to move objects weighing between 20 to 50 pounds occasionally, and 10 to 25 pounds frequently. You should be comfortable with repetitive walking, standing, and squatting.

Compensation : The pay range for this position is $18.65 per hour.

Location : Work will be conducted in Monroe County, within shared aide buildings. Specific address details will be provided during the onboarding process.
