Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Your visible presence and attention to detail will support a secure atmosphere, while your commitment to outstanding customer service and communication reflects our company's caring and reliable values. Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist tenants, visitors, and / or employees at the location with security-related inquiries or issues.
  • Support Allied Universal management in maintaining a security-related presence in accordance with established site procedures.
  • Complete required documentation and / or incident reports as needed.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • A valid security guard card or license is preferred, which may be state, county, or city issued.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
