Salary Range : California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City : $125,000-$232,000. Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, Utah and New York State : $108,500-$201,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; final offer amount may vary based on experience and location.

Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Provides PCB Engineering support to internal engineering / program teams and suppliers to ensure technical performance, quality, and adherence to schedule.
- Manages release of technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans and procedures; evaluates configurations and processing solutions to flow down customer requirements.
- Utilizes 2D / 3D modeling tools (NX, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Lattice3D or equivalent).
- Supports Source Selection Evaluation Teams in assessing supplier technical proposals.
- Supports new supplier reviews, vendor activation, and manufacturing support throughout the production lifecycle.
- Guides suppliers to resolve supplier corrective actions (SCARs).
- Collaborates with engineering, program management, and operations to identify improvements related to specification, cost targets, and design for manufacturability.
- Analyzes operational problems and develops effective solutions.
- Works with subcontract strategies, FAR / DFAR knowledge and project management practices.
- Resolves specification conflicts, supplier non-conformances, and supplier test / design issues with key suppliers and internal teams.
- Analyzes BOEs and BOMs for cost reasonableness; develops should-cost estimates for sole-source execution when needed.
- Guides Make / Buy decisions in line with core competencies and business strategy.
- Captures and manages customer-derived requirements, ensuring traceability from verification tests to customer / system requirements.
- Recommends design and process improvements; reviews literature and industry practices relevant to assigned projects.
- Provides primary technical support for assigned IPT teams and participates in technical / management reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, TIMs, etc.).
- Model, drawing, and EBOM reviews; hardware part approval management; ECR / SIR / PIR / CIR management.
- Ability to obtain DoD security clearance, as required; travel up to 25% as needed for installations, demonstrations, and field support.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant engineering experience; or Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of experience; or In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of related experience.Preferred Additional Skills
