The Clinical Nurse III in the Critical Care Float Pool is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care across various critical care units, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU and Medical ICU. This role requires assessment of patient needs, administration of medications, and collaboration with the nursing team to create comprehensive care plans. The nurse must possess a valid NYS Registered Nurse license, have experience in clinical settings, and maintain certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Hourly Range : $36.73 - $60.93

RNs in the Critical Care Float pool also have the opportunity to gain additional competencies in Emergency Department care and neuro-progressive care areas.

Job Description :

• Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures

and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local / state / federal

rules and regulations.

Baccalaureate Degree is conferred

(ACLS)

and demonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
