Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain features and components of WellSky solutions with an emphasis on code quality, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and other teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-impact features that align with business goals.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
- Optimize system performance and scalability through troubleshooting and ongoing improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews to ensure that software code meets internal standards and follows industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain a robust set of unit tests and participate in other styles of automated testing, including integration, load, and performance testing to validate quality of code written.
- Leverage common GenAI tools for AI assisted development and understand the basics of prompt engineering.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment; demonstrate initiative and flexibility to pivot direction as team goals evolve and new challenges emerge.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experienceAt least 2-4 years relevant work experienceExperience developing with .NET, using C# or JavaFamiliarity with Angular or React (Angular preferred for web; React Native used for mobile)Interest or hands-on experience with AI development tools like GitHub Copilot or Copilot StudioSolid understanding of unit testing and automated testing practicesComfort working in Agile environments, including tools like JIRA and participation in Scrum and sprint planningPreferred Qualifications :
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS or AzureExperience working in healthcare technology environments, especially with Home Health & Hospice systemsFamiliarity with HL7 standards and interoperability protocols used in clinical data exchangeJob Expectations :
