Mechanical Project Engineer – Wayne, PA
Bala Consulting Engineers is a 200-person engineering firm headquartered in Wayne, PA with offices in New York, Boston, Baltimore and Washington, DC. We seek a Mechanical Project Engineer for our New York City office and occasional remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept selection and sizing of HVAC, ductwork and piping systems; calculation of heating / cooling loads, static pressure and pump head.
- Generation of schematic diagrams, flow diagrams and specification writing subject to review.
- Review of shop drawings and final disposition; conduct surveys and attend design development, construction and commissioning meetings.
- Maintain accurate design records and collaborate with clients, vendors and other disciplines.
- Assist in client proposals and proposal development.
